During the 1960s in London, ON, I played with two bands (basically the same guys!); Willy Turner And The Casuals, and Harry And The Invictas. We played many “Teen Towns”, bars and shows, including the Roy Orbison Show at the London Arena in the early 1960s. Sadly, Ken Pringle (bari sax) and Freddy Carver (bass) passed away last year, but Willy Turner (drums), Harry Swallowell (guitar) and I are still kickin’ in The Biz, and we’ve been joined by veteran bass-player Gerry Hooper, and fine sax-player John Montgomery.

We had our first gig Sept. 19, and it was GREAT to be back together. More to come!

(WOW! Originally, we were intending to have a “couple of gigs” for old time’s sake, but the interest from club-owners has been overwhelming, so much so that we’ve had to hire another sax player to do most of the gigs!!! (I just can’t come up to London that often…) )

Keep checking here for details.
